Samantha White

Samantha White [she/her] (you can call her Sam) is the Events and Administrative Coordinator for The Federal Defender Leadership Center where she brings logistics and heart together to support the Federal Defender Leadership Center team and the federal defender community. With over seven years of experience in event coordination and operations ranging from university programs to large scale coaching retreats, Sam has a gift for turning ambiguity into structure and chaos into calm.

Before joining the Leadership Center, she worked as a coordinator for student success programming at St. Mary’s University through thoughtful systems and genuine care for the people involved. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, Writing, and Rhetoric from St. Edward’s University, and that same love of clear communication shows up in her administrative support. She’s excited to bring her energy, organization, and warmth to the Leadership Center team.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find her with a crochet hook in hand, hiking a new trail, or testing out a recipe she’s been eyeing all week (and happily eating the results). She’s an enthusiastic reader and an even more enthusiastic napper, especially in a good warm sunspot.
