Natalie Miller
Senior Learning Designer
Driven by a love of learning and a commitment to helping people be the change they want
to see in the world, NATALIE MILLER interweaves myriad skillsets and multidisciplinary
expertise to holistically support leaders in their personal and professional development.
Natalie is a leadership coach, Master Certified at the PCC Level, with more than a decade
of practice coaching leaders in various industries, including Federal Defenders. She is also
a leadership consultant, with more than 20 years of firsthand experience leading teams
large and small. Finally, Natalie is a teacher and trainer who has spent the last three
decades developing and delivering educational content in a wide array of
environments: from university classrooms to yoga studios to Zoom rooms to retreat
centers to Defender offices around the country.
Natalie helps the innovative and integrous FDLC in supporting leaders at all levels of the
Defender community by creating educational resources, designing formative experiential
learning, and offering executive coaching. She delights in co-creating with fellow teachers
and enthusiastic students, and especially loves weaving group coaching opportunities into
learning experiences. Natalie aligns deeply with the Defenders' mission and values and is
honored to contribute to the fight.
To round out her work life, Natalie enjoys knitting, cooking, Pilates classes, novels, long
walks, and lots of television shows. She lives with her husband in Maryland, where she is
mom to two inspiring young women, several naughty pets, and a jungle of houseplants.
