To provide a wellness break, foster teamwork and friendly competition, and to help folks decompress a bit from the stresses of the job, the FPD office in the D-HI has incorporated a Scrabble corner and jigsaw puzzle area.
Folks at the Defender office in Honolulu take a few minutes as they want throughout the day to play a turn in Scrabble or put a couple of puzzle pieces together. The games encourage conversation and collaboration and foster teamwork and cooperation, as well as social interaction. Currently, the office is working on a “World of Shakespeare” jigsaw.
