The Federal Defender Services of Idaho office is committed to fostering a cohesive and motivated team through an annual team-building retreat and quarterly activities. These initiatives are designed to strengthen bonds, enhance collaboration, and promote a positive workplace culture. A rotating committee made up of cross branch and functional members meets to determine activities each year.
Key Highlights:
• Annual Team Building Retreat: Each year, the entire team gathers for an immersive retreat focused on team building. This event includes various activities, workshops, and collaborative exercises that encourage teamwork, creativity, and effective communication. Following a retreat tradition, last year they did a half day group volunteer project at Good Samaritan in Boise.
• Quarterly Team Building Activities: To maintain momentum and continuously strengthen team dynamics, the office organizes quarterly activities. These range from problem-solving challenges and skill building workshops to social events, ensuring that team members remain connected and engaged throughout the year.
• Enhanced Collaboration: Both the retreat and quarterly activities provide opportunities for team members to build trust, share ideas, and develop stronger working relationships, ultimately leading to increased productivity and job satisfaction.
By investing in team building, FDSI ensures a resilient, collaborative, and high-performing team ready to tackle any challenge.Â
