Attorney Sandi Dawson and Senior Litigator Kacey Keeton recently brought applied improv to their Montgomery, AL, office. As described by them: The workshop was a series of improv exercises to help you learn to really listen, to let go of mistakes, to get on the same page as teammates or a client, to adapt and change when its needed, and to not impose limits that don’t exist. It was a fun way to learn skills we all need as litigators. No one had to stand up and do improv. We mostly worked in small groups, sometimes as a small group within the whole. We all laughed a lot and learned a lot.
