National Public Defense Well-Being Study
All staff in the federal public defender community are invited to participate in a study to find out what drives public defenders and how they sustain themselves in the practice. Participants will complete a 2-minute survey twice a day over ten days. The survey can be completed on a phone or a computer and responses are completely anonymous. The findings and recommendations will help support individual defenders, improve the organizations we work in, and inform the systems making budget and policy decisions that impact public defense. Read article to learn more about the study and sign up to participate.
